Our scoring system
Every tool is scored 1–5 on four factors, averaged into one number:
- Ease of use — how fast can a non-technical person get a real campaign out the door?
- Features — automations, forms, pages, integrations, analytics, at each price tier.
- Value for money — what you get per unit of currency, including free plans and where pricing breaks as your list grows.
- Support — channels, responsiveness and real-world reports from users.
Scores are editorial judgements based on each vendor's public pricing pages, documentation, changelog and published user reports. Unless a review says otherwise, we have not tested the product hands-on.Scores are re-checked when vendors ship major changes.
How we keep data fresh
Automated monitors read each platform's blog or changelog every day, and an automated test bench visits each pricing page and homepage daily to check it is reachable, whether its free-plan wording still matches our record, and which prices appear. Anything that doesn't match is flagged for a human to check; the tool's record is then updated and every page touching it regenerates. Each review shows when its data was last updated so you can judge for yourself.
Affiliate program terms are re-checked weekly by an automated reader of each program's public page.
How we use AI
Some short news posts are drafted by an AI model using only facts from our database and the linked source, then checked automatically for invented numbers and unsupported claims before publishing. Those posts carry an "AI-assisted" label. Reviews, scores, comparisons and user quotes are not AI-generated opinions.

Commission terms never influence scores or rankings, and the tool finder never reads affiliate status. Tools that pay us nothing — Klaviyo, Mailchimp, MailCheap, Keila, listmonk — are scored on exactly the same rules as everyone else. Our incentive is simple: if you come back, we eat.
